Membership
Becoming a member of London Communicators is really easy. Just fill in the application form and post back to: Club Treasurer, Flat 19 Compass Point, 5 Grenade Street, E14 8HL.
There are two sets of fees
£25 for 'Toastmasters International' affiliation which includes Toastmasters starter kit. £80 for our club 'London Communicators', a full year's membership which runs from April 1st to March 31st; Join part way through the year, this fee is pro-rated across the year.
The club welcomes all members of the public and considers individual circumstances so speak to our Treasurer to discuss any potential concessionary rate. London Communicators is a non-profit making, self financing club reliant on our member's fees.
Rather than posting the application you can bring your completed application form and payment to the next club meeting and hand it to one of the committee members.
Every new member becomes a member of Toastmasters International and you will receive you first speech manual with details on the 10 speech projects that help guide you to becoming a Competent Communicator (CC). At Toastmasters you can also work on your leadership skills and you will receive your Competent Leadership manual, with details on the first 10 assignments to qualify you as a Competent Leader (CL). Your first steps on the journey to becoming a Distinguished ToastMaster (DTM).
